At a meeting held last week, Xi Jinping said that he commended organizations and individuals who stood out in the national anti-drug work.

This commendation will occur before the International Anti-Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking Day on June 26 every year.

Chinese State Councilor Zhao Kezhi, also the director of the National Drug Control Commission, read Xi Jinping’s instructions at the meeting and called on local governments to make more significant efforts to ensure people’s new victory in the fight against drugs.

Since 2015, 100 organizations and 100 people who have made the conference has commended significant contributions to the fight against drugs.
